Cool Cats Community,

Starting today, I am stepping into an expanded leadership role at Cool Cats. As Creator and Founder, I will be leading both the strategic vision and day-to-day decisions regarding all aspects of Cool Cats, while continuing to oversee all creative aspects of the brand. I’ve made this decision with a great deal of thought, as well as advice from trusted friends and colleagues. You are all aware of my passion for sharing Cool Cats with the world, and it is the fulfillment of a personal dream to be able to lead the company that will continue to delight and inspire people around the world. I am beyond excited for what the future holds, and it feels fantastic to have the full support of our Board, as well as our employees who work tirelessly to bring Blue Cat and his friends to life. I’m hoping that I will also have your full support, as we would never have made it this far without the best community in web3.

Also effective today, Stephen has stepped down as CEO. Stephen has played a pivotal role in making Cool Cats a better-managed and more effective company. I want to thank him for helping build the strong foundation that will enable us to achieve even greater heights, beginning with our new strategic direction communicated earlier this year. I will continue to clearly communicate a vision and strategy to build a global brand touching hearts worldwide.

To be candid, running Cool Cats wasn’t something I initially set out to do. Since the inception of Blue Cat, my heart has been deeply rooted in the realm of creativity. As Creative Director of Cool Cats, I have had an unwavering dedication to create characters and stories that resonate with you as our core audience. Now that our creative momentum is unstoppable, with an incredible team of artists and illustrators on board, I’ve found a moment to pause and contemplate how I can be even more impactful in bringing the joy of Cool Cats to millions of people.

It’s time. I’m ready to lead Cool Cats and I stand confident knowing I’m not alone. I have the support of an incredibly talented team, along with world class strategic partners and advisors – Futureverse, Animoca Brands, and Chairman Ken Cron – who continue to provide me with insights and guidance; and the boundless support and enthusiasm of the Cool Cats community.

In closing, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who’s made Cool Cats what it is today: my co-founders, board members, strategic partners, past and present team members, and above all, our community. Without YOU none of this would be possible, and I promise to always listen to the community and seek the advice of those who are just as passionate as I am about Cool Cats.

2023 will continue to be an incredible year for our company, community, and fans. There are so many exciting moments on the horizon that I can’t wait for the world to experience – including the launch of Sidekicks, our avatar system and marketplace, upcoming desktop and mobile games, and of course, our history-making moment on November 23rd when the world sees Blue and Chugs fly through New York City in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

We’re thrilled to be on this fantastic ride together.
